This Cookie Policy explains how Agentra Technologies (Private) Limited, trading as Agentra (“Agentra”, “we”, “us” or “our”), uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website, access our platform or interact with Agentra features.
Our marketing website is available at agentraa.com. The Agentra platform is available at app.agentraa.com and related workspace addresses on the agentraa.com domain.
This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your browser or device when you visit a website or use an online service.
Cookies can help websites remember information about your visit, such as whether you are signed in, the preferences you selected or whether you have already dismissed a notice.
Cookies may be:
- Session cookies, which normally expire when you close your browser; or
- Persistent cookies, which remain on your device until they expire or you delete them.
2. Similar Technologies
This Policy also applies to similar storage and access technologies, including:
- Local storage;
- Session storage;
- Tracking pixels;
- Tags and scripts;
- Software development kits;
- Device or browser identifiers; and
- Other technologies that store information on, or access information from, your browser or device.
In this Policy, we refer to these technologies collectively as “cookies” unless the context requires otherwise.
3. How We Use Cookies
Agentra may use cookies to:
- Operate our website and platform;
- Keep authorised users signed in;
- Maintain secure account and workspace sessions;
- Protect login forms and prevent unauthorised access;
- Remember interface and language preferences;
- Remember your cookie choices;
- Maintain live-chat conversation sessions;
- Route conversations to the correct workspace;
- Detect fraud, spam, abuse and security risks;
- Diagnose errors and technical problems;
- Understand how our website and platform are used;
- Improve performance, usability and reliability; and
- Measure marketing campaigns where optional marketing tools are enabled.
We do not use optional analytics or marketing cookies before obtaining consent where consent is required by applicable law.
4. Categories of Cookies
4.1 Strictly necessary cookies
Strictly necessary cookies are required to operate the website or provide a feature you request. They may be used for:
- User authentication;
- Account and workspace sessions;
- Security and fraud prevention;
- Load balancing and network management;
- Form security;
- Remembering privacy and cookie choices;
- Maintaining a chat session requested by a visitor; and
- Providing core website or platform functionality.
These cookies cannot normally be disabled through our cookie preference tool because the requested service may not work without them.
You may still block them through your browser settings, but doing so may prevent you from signing in, maintaining a session or using important Agentra features.
4.2 Functional cookies
Functional cookies remember choices that improve or personalise your experience, such as:
- Language or regional preferences;
- Interface settings;
- Previously dismissed notices;
- Display preferences; and
- Other optional workspace or website settings.
Where required, these cookies are used only after you provide consent.
4.3 Analytics and performance cookies
Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors and authorised users interact with Agentra. They may collect information such as:
- Pages visited;
- Features used;
- Links or buttons selected;
- Approximate session duration;
- Referring pages;
- Browser and device information;
- General traffic patterns;
- Error events; and
- Performance and reliability information.
We may use this information to identify technical problems, understand usage and improve the Agentra website and platform.
Analytics cookies are treated as optional where consent is required. They will not be activated until you accept them through the cookie preference tool.
4.4 Marketing and advertising cookies
If marketing technologies are enabled, marketing cookies may be used to:
- Measure whether campaigns are effective;
- Record whether a visitor arrived through an advertisement or referral link;
- Measure conversions;
- Limit how often an advertisement is displayed;
- Create advertising audiences; and
- Show more relevant advertising on third-party services.
Marketing and advertising cookies are optional. Where consent is required, they will not be set until you actively accept them.
If Agentra does not currently use marketing or advertising technologies, no marketing cookies will be intentionally placed by Agentra.
4.5 Embedded content and integration cookies
Pages may occasionally include content or features provided by third parties, such as videos, forms, scheduling tools, social-media content or other embedded services.
These third parties may place cookies or receive technical information when their content is loaded or used.
Where required, optional embedded content will remain disabled until you provide the relevant consent.
5. Cookie Categories and Retention
The exact names and lifetimes of cookies may change as we update our website, platform, security systems and service providers.
| Category | Purpose | Typical retention |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Authentication, security, sessions, forms, cookie preferences and core functionality | For the browser session or for the period required to provide and secure the requested feature |
| Functional | Remember optional interface, language and user preferences | For the browser session or until the preference expires or is changed |
| Analytics and performance | Understand usage, diagnose errors and improve performance | Depends on the analytics provider and configuration |
| Marketing and advertising | Measure campaigns, referrals, conversions and advertising performance | Depends on the marketing provider and configuration |
| Live-chat session | Maintain a conversation and route it to the correct Agentra workspace | For the session or for the limited period needed to continue the conversation |
Where available, our cookie preference tool provides additional information about the cookies currently active on the relevant website, including their provider, purpose and duration.
6. First-Party Cookies
First-party cookies are placed directly through an Agentra-controlled domain, such as:
- agentraa.com;
- app.agentraa.com; or
- A related workspace address on the agentraa.com domain.
These cookies may support account sessions, security, preferences, forms, live chat and other Agentra functionality.
7. Third-Party Cookies
Third-party cookies are placed or accessed by a service provider whose technology is used on our website or platform.
Depending on the tools enabled at a particular time, third-party providers may support:
- Website analytics;
- Performance and error monitoring;
- Marketing and conversion measurement;
- Video or media embedding;
- Scheduling and contact forms;
- Authentication;
- Security and abuse prevention; or
- Other website or platform functionality.
Third-party providers may process information according to their own privacy and cookie policies. Their cookies may have different expiration periods and controls.
We aim to prevent optional third-party technologies from loading before consent where applicable.
8. Payment and Checkout Cookies
At the effective date of this Cookie Policy, Agentra does not operate a live paid checkout through the platform and does not intentionally place cookies belonging to a payment provider for Agentra subscription checkout.
If live paid subscriptions are introduced, a payment provider may use strictly necessary cookies to provide secure checkout, prevent fraud, calculate applicable taxes, process payments and confirm subscription status.
We will update this Cookie Policy and our cookie preference information before or when live payment processing is introduced.
9. Agentra Platform Cookies
When you sign in to the Agentra platform, strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies may be used to:
- Authenticate your account;
- Keep you signed in;
- Associate your session with the correct workspace;
- Apply your roles and permissions;
- Protect against unauthorised access;
- Maintain platform security; and
- Remember certain account preferences.
Blocking these technologies may prevent the platform from functioning correctly.
10. Agentra Live-Chat Widget
A business may install the Agentra live-chat widget on its own website or ecommerce store.
When a visitor opens or uses the widget, cookies, local storage or similar technologies may be used to:
- Create or maintain a chat session;
- Remember that a conversation has already started;
- Route messages to the correct business workspace;
- Prevent duplicate conversations;
- Apply widget preferences;
- Support security and abuse prevention; and
- Continue a conversation when the visitor moves between pages.
The business operating the website normally controls whether and how the Agentra widget is deployed on its website. That business is responsible for providing any cookie notice, obtaining any required consent and configuring the widget in accordance with applicable law.
Agentra processes widget information on behalf of the business as described in our Privacy Policy and the agreement between Agentra and that business.
11. AI Features and Cookies
Agentra’s AI Agent does not rely on marketing cookies to generate customer-support replies.
Strictly necessary session technologies may, however, be used to maintain a conversation, associate it with the correct workspace, protect the interaction and provide the chat service requested by the visitor.
Information submitted through an AI Agent conversation, including messages and relevant customer context, is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Your Cookie Choices
Where required, our cookie banner or preference tool allows you to:
- Accept all available cookie categories;
- Reject non-essential cookies;
- Select individual optional categories; and
- Change or withdraw your choices later.
Rejecting optional cookies will not prevent essential website and platform functions from operating, although some optional features may be unavailable.
You can change your choices through the “Cookie Settings” or similar link made available on our website.
Changing your preferences does not automatically delete cookies already stored on your device. You may delete existing cookies using your browser settings.
13. Withdrawing Consent
You may withdraw your consent to optional cookies at any time.
After consent is withdrawn, we will stop intentionally using the affected optional cookie categories on future page loads, subject to the time required for your preference to be applied.
Withdrawal does not affect processing that lawfully occurred before consent was withdrawn.
14. Browser Controls
Most web browsers allow you to inspect, block or delete cookies through their settings.
Depending on your browser, you may be able to:
- Delete existing cookies;
- Block all cookies;
- Block third-party cookies;
- Allow cookies only for selected websites;
- Delete cookies when the browser closes; or
- Receive a notification before a cookie is stored.
Browser settings are separate from Agentra’s cookie preference tool.
If you block all cookies, parts of our website, platform or live-chat functionality may not work. For example, you may be unable to sign in, remain authenticated or continue an existing chat session.
15. Mobile Devices
Mobile browsers and devices may provide additional privacy, tracking or advertising controls.
You should review the settings provided by your browser, device manufacturer or operating-system provider for information about managing these technologies.
16. Do Not Track Signals
Some browsers provide a “Do Not Track” setting. Because there is not a universally accepted standard for interpreting every Do Not Track signal, our website may not respond to all such signals.
You should use our cookie preference tool and your browser settings to control optional cookies.
Where applicable law requires Agentra to recognise a supported browser-based opt-out signal, we will take reasonable steps to honour that signal.
17. Cookie Information and Personal Data
Some cookie information may be considered personal information, particularly where it is combined with an IP address, account identifier, device identifier or information about website activity.
Where cookie information identifies or can reasonably be linked to an individual, we process it in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
18. International Processing
Some service providers may process cookie and technical information in countries other than the country from which you access Agentra.
Where required, we use appropriate contractual, organisational or legal safeguards for international transfers, as described in our Privacy Policy.
19. Retention
Cookie retention depends on the purpose of the cookie and how it is configured.
Session cookies normally expire when the browser session ends. Persistent cookies remain until:
- Their configured expiration date;
- You delete them;
- You withdraw the relevant consent and they are subsequently removed; or
- We or the relevant provider discontinue them.
Information collected through cookies may also be stored in Agentra or provider systems for the retention periods described in our Privacy Policy.
20. Updates to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when:
- Our website or platform changes;
- New features are introduced;
- We add or remove service providers;
- Analytics or marketing technologies change;
- Live payment processing is introduced; or
- Legal or regulatory requirements change.
When we update this Policy, we will change the “Last updated” date at the beginning of the page.
Material changes may also be communicated through our website, cookie banner, platform or another appropriate method.
